Scarf time

Niccy (one of my best friends now living in California) sent me some gorgeous yarn for my birthday. I'm turning it into a lacy scarf. I love wearing lightweight scarfs in the Autumn and this one is going to be super gorgeous!
Really simple pattern over 41st;
Knit 2 rows.
Sl,YO, K2together, *K1, YO, K2together, Repeat from * to end of row.
Repeat last row until required length.
Knit 2 rows.

SIMPLES!

    It looks like there might be an error in the "fancy" row as the slip 1, k2tog before the asterisk has no corresponding increase as it does after the asterisk. Is this an error?

    Yep, it's missing a YO after the slip 1.
